The classic outsourcing trade-off — cheaper engineers, but at the cost of distance, language, timezone friction, and quality variance — doesn't apply when the engineering team is in Nairobi, working in your timezone, on your codebase, every day.

Our outsourced engineers are indistinguishable from in-house ones — same standards, same processes, same quality bar. But you get the flexibility of stepping up or down without the hiring overhead.

Our embedded engineers have an average of 7 years' experience. We don't put juniors on outsourcing engagements unless you specifically want them on a structured mentorship plan.

How is this different from upwork / typical outsourcing?
Augusta engineers are full-time Augusta employees with senior tenure, working from our Nairobi office. We're not a marketplace, not a platform, and the engineer you interview is the engineer who joins. Quality and continuity are guaranteed.
How fast can someone start?
If we have someone on the bench with the right skills, 1–2 weeks. For specialised skills or larger squads, typically 3–6 weeks. We won't rush a poor match — better to wait for the right person.
Can we interview the engineers first?
Always. We propose 2–3 candidates per role; you interview them like any other hire and choose. We won't push a candidate you didn't pick.
What if it doesn't work out?
30-day no-fault exit. If a specific engineer isn't a fit, we'll replace them within two weeks. If the whole engagement isn't working, you can exit in 30 days — no penalties, no drama.
Do engineers transfer to us at the end?
We're flexible. After 12+ months of embedded work, transitioning an Augusta engineer to your full-time payroll is something we accommodate — with the engineer's consent and a fair conversion fee.
